Bajothang Higher Secondary has set a new record for itself with the December 2008 result. This year a total of 141 students were registered for BCSE examination including 16 supplementary candidates, out of which four did not turn up for exam. Hence 137 sat for BCSE 2008 December in Bajothang H S School.

Out of the 137 who sat for BCSE, 131 were awarded PCA (Pass Certificate Awarded), achieving a general pass percent of 92.91% and six were awarded PCNA (Pass Certificate Not Awarded). From the successful 131 students a record-setting 51.06% i.e. 68 students were qualified for class XI including two scholarships students, more over 56 out of 68 qualified for Science stream. A total of 139 students were registered for BHSCE (Bhutan Higher Secondary Certificate Examination) including four private candidates. However two private candidates and two of our regular students failed to sit for the examination.

Out of the 135 who sat of December 2008 BHSCE (XII) a record number of 133 students achieved PCA and only two were not awarded the Pass Certificate, giving us the overall pass percent of 95.5%
