School Development Fund Policy
- The SDF committee will be formed including Principal, Vice Principals, Staff Secretary, 1 school captain (Boy or Girl). The SDF will be deposited by 15 March each year in the school account of the Bank of Bhutan, Wangdue Branch.
- The SDF collection will be Nu. 200/- from each student and it will be collected once in the beginning of the academic session as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Education.
- The SDF committee will budget out the entire fund for usage for the academic year concerned including all the curricular and co-curricular programs/activities for that year. The budget worked out for usage will be made aware & informed to the students and staff members of the school.
- The various coordinators of the curricular and co-curricular activities will have to obtain prior approval from the SDF committee in a format to use the fund.
- The Vice Principal will maintain the SDF account (Cash Book in line with the existing financial norms) and will produce the balance sheet on the notice board and brief the staff in the meetings quarterly that is once in end of May, August and November each year.
- The SDF accounts will be subjected to auditing by concerned authorities of the Dzongkhag Administration, Ministry of Education, Royal Audit Authority, School Management Board and also the students if deemed necessary.
- The school will collect an additional fund of Nu. 150/- as caution money which will be refunded at the end of the year. The collection, utilization, accounts and refunding will be made by the class teachers concerned. The accounts will also be subjected to auditing by the Dzongkhag, Ministry and school authority.
